Delano C. Horton is a dynamic and dedicated attorney who was called to the Bar of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in 2024 and is now an associate at Chancellors. A graduate of the Eugene Dupuch Law School, Delano earned his Legal Education Certificate in 2024, where he served as Vice-President of the Student Association and distinguished himself as a participant in the Margaret Forte Moot. His academic journey began at the University of The Bahamas, where he completed a Bachelor of Laws degree, focusing on areas such as Family Law, Corporate Governance, and Alternative Dispute Resolution, followed by an Associate Degree in Law and Criminal Justice.

Delano gained practical legal experience during his internships, where he conducted research, drafted legal documents, and provided support on litigation matters, including employment law and personal injury cases. He also participated in the Trust Moot, demonstrating his ability to navigate complex legal issues and articulate persuasive arguments.

Beyond his legal pursuits, Delano is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He has contributed to initiatives such as the Human Rights Specialist Clinic, organized a toy drive for the Nazareth Center, and assisted in a movie night for the children at the Ranfurly Home.
